Cobras Take Home Title at 2019 Cherokee Valley Women's Invitational

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. - The Coker College women's golf team picked up their second win of the year on Tuesday (Mar. 26) as they took first-place at the 2019 Cherokee Valley Women's Invitational after beating the hosts, North Greenville, in a playoff.

Alicia Fajardo just missed medalist honors as she finished in sole possession of second-place after she carded an 80 (+8) in the final round. Alyssa Campbell also notched a top-five finish after she closed out the tournament with an 83 (+11). Bella Harris just missed the top five as she finished tied for seventh following her 86 (+14) for the day. Kelli Smith and Ana Orlov both fired off an 85 (+13) in the final round as they finished 11th and tied for 12th, respectively.

The Cobras will be back in action again on Sunday (Apr. 7) when they head to Hickory, North Carolina for the 2019 South Atlantic Conference Golf Championship.
