Women’s Golf Finishes Second at Converse Spring Invite
The Coker College women’s golf team rounded out play at the Converse Spring Invite on Tuesday (Feb. 19) at Carolina Country Club, finishing in second.
SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Coker College women's golf team rounded out play at the Converse Spring Invite on Tuesday (Feb. 19) at Carolina Country Club, finishing in second.
Alyssa Campbell finished strong to grab a share of second-place after entering the day in fourth. Campbell fired a final round 79 (+7) to match her opening round score 79 (+7). Bella Harris closed the day in ninth after carding an 81 (+9) and Alicia Fajardo finished tied for 15th following an 84 (+12) in day two. Kelli Smith finished just two spots back in a tie for 17th after shooting an 85 (+13) and Ana Orlov rounded out the day with an 87 (+15), finishing in a tie for 21st.
The Cobras will be back on the course on Monday (Mar. 18) and Tuesday (Mar. 19) when they host the Coker Cobra Women's Spring Invitational at Hartsville Country Club.
