Women’s Golf Sits Second at the Converse Fall Invite

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Coker College women's golf team completed the first round of play at the Converse Fall Invite on Monday (Oct. 22), finishing the day with a team score of 326 (+38).

Bella Harris currently sits in second place after firing an opening round 77 (+5), while Alyssa Campbell is just behind in fourth following her 80 (+8). Alicia Fajardo rebounded from a tough front nine to shoot a 37 (+1) on the back for a total of 82 (+10), putting her in a tie for eighth. Kelli Smith carded an 87 (+15) and Ana Orlov had an 88 (+16), placing them in 20th and 23rd, respectively.

The Cobras will hit the course again tomorrow for the final round of play.
