Cobras Finish Strong at the Battle at Old South
The Coker College women’s golf team finished up play at the Battle at Old South on Sunday (Sept. 23) by shooting a team score of 312. The Cobras recorded a combined two-day total of 634, good for an 11th place finish.
BLUFFTON, S.C. - The Coker College women's golf team finished up play at the Battle at Old South on Sunday (Sept. 23) by shooting a team score of 312. The Cobras recorded a combined two-day total of 634, good for an 11th place finish.
Alyssa Campbell and Alicia Fajardo both improved on their first round scores by six strokes, carding a 72 (E) and 73 (+1), respectively. Campbell finished tied for 14th with a two-day score of 150 (+6), while Fajardo finished in a tie for 22nd with a score of 152 (+8). Kelli Smith, Bella Harris, and Taylor Mayers rounded out the tournament with scores of 165 (+21), 168 (+24), and 172 (+28), respectively.
The Cobras will hit the course again on Monday (Oct. 8) and Tuesday (Oct. 9) as they travel to Salisbury, North Carolina for the Patsy Rendleman Invitational.
