Women's Golf Takes 11th at Patsy Rendleman Invitational
Luna finishes inside the top-20, shoots second round 76 along with Winburn
SALISBURY, N.C.- The Coker College women's golf team wrapped up play at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational with a team score of 639 and finished 11th at the Country Club of Salisbury. Angela Luna and Amber Winburn both shot rounds of 76 on Tuesday (Oct. 10) afternoon to help the Cobras.
Angela Luna fired off a tournament score of 153 (+11), as she finished tied for 20th in individual play. Kelli Smith finished three shots back of Luna with a 36-hole score of 156.
Amber Winburn shot rounds of 85 and 76, while Ana Orlov and Samantha Pearson assisted the Navy and Gold with scores of 171 and 177 for the tournament respectively.
The Patsy Rendleman Invitational held at the Country Club of Salisbury was the final tournament of the fall for the Cobras. Coker's next contest will be on Monday and Tuesday (Feb. 25-26) at the Lincoln Memorial University Women's Spring Intercollegiate at the Fleming Island Golf Club in Orange Park, FL.
