Cobras Gear Up For SAC Championship
The Coker College women's golf team is set for the South Atlantic Conference Championship.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Coker College women's golf team will travel to Greeneville, Tenn. for the South Atlantic Conference Championship, which begins on Sunday (Apr. 9). The three-day, 54-hole event will take place at Link Hills Country Club, where the Cobras took third just last week.
Second team All-SAC selection Angela Luna leads the way for the Cobras, entering the tournament with a 78.6 season scoring average. Luna has one top-five finish on the season and three top-10 showings. Kelli Smith comes in with a 80.6 season scoring average, while Bella Harris has a stroke average of 81 on the season. Tayler Mayers has a 81.6 scoring average on the season. She finished in a tie for fifth at the 36-hole event held at Link Hills Country Club on Apr. 3-4. Amber Winburn rounds out the Coker lineup, with an 84.8 season scoring average.
