Cobras Capture Eleventh At Armstrong Pirate Women’s Invitational
The Coker women's golf team finished in eleventh place in the Armstrong Pirate Women's Invitational.
SAVANNAH, GA. – The Coker College women's golf team fired a final round score of 337 on Tuesday afternoon (Mar. 1) to close out play at the Armstrong Pirate Women's Invitational. Coker's three-round team total of 1011 left them in eleventh place as a team.
Angela Luna led the way for the Cobras. She signed off on a final round 83, leading to 242 tournament score and a 26th place finish. Taylor Gaskins shot a final round of 84, giving her a three-round score of 255. Ana Orlov's closing round of 80 was the low round of the day for the Navy and Gold. She finished with a two-day score of 258. Bella Harris and Margaret Mills rounded things out for Coker. Both shot rounds of 90 on Tuesday, Harris finishing with a tournament score of 260, while Mills concluded the tournament at 265.
Host school Armstrong State University took home the team title. They finished with a team score of 921. Franziska Bremm of West Georgia won the individual medalist honors, after shooting rounds of 73, 74 and 75.
The Cobras will be back in action on Monday (Mar. 14) when they host the inaugural Coker Women's Invitational.
