Coker Women’s Golf to Compete in Patsy Rendleman Invitational

SALISBURY, N.C. – The Coker women's golf will conclude its fall season next week at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational (Oct. 14-15) hosted by Catawba College at the Country Club of Salisbury.

Representing Coker in the tournament will be Taylor Demby, Amber Harman, Mallory Thompkins, Krista Thorpe, and Tensley Clowser.

Leading the Cobras will be sophomore Taylor Demby, who shot a two day total of 156 earlier this week at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate. Demby earned a top-15 finish with her performance.

Mallory Thompkins enters the event with a season average of 82, and is coming off a top-25 finish of her own at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate. Rounding out the Coker lineup is Clowser with an 85.5 average, and Thorpe and Harman with 86.5 and 90 averages respectively.

Sixteen regional teams will compete in the 36-hole two-day tournament. The Cobras are set to tee-off Monday morning.
