Thorpe Leads Cobras After Day One of Kiawah Intercollegiate
After day one of the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate the Coker college women’s golf team is currently in 17th place after shooting a team score of 343.
KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. -- After day one of the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate the Coker College women's golf team is currently in 17th place after shooting a team score of 343.
Krista Thorpe led the field for the Cobras after shooting a team low 82. Sara Allen, and Jessi McKenzie finished back-to-back with final scores of 85 and 87, while Taylor Demby and Mallory Thompkins rounded out the field for Coker by shooting individuals scores of 89 and 91, respectfully.
Lynn University is currently in the first place position after shooting a team score of 295 on the day, followed by Barry University (299) and Savannah College of Art and Design(300).
The second and final day of the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate will take place on Sunday (Feb. 3), beginning at 8 a.m.
