SALISBURY, N.C. -- The Coker women's golf team finished 15th at the Patsy Rendelman Invitational on Tuesday (Oct. 16), after shooting a combined team score of 688. The Cobras knocked down 53 pars and 4 birdies during the two-day event.
Mallory Thompkins and Krista Thorpe led the Cobras throughout the tournament, when both shot a team low of 165 for the tournament and tied for 37th on the individual scorecard. Taylor Demby finished with a combined score of 175, and Jessi McKenzie shot a 183.
The Cobras will have little rest as they return back to North Carolina next week on October 20, when they gather in Brevard to participate in the Montreat Invitational.
