- Coker Women's Basketball slotted in at 13th in the latest WBCA DII National Rankings, released this past Tuesday
- The Cobras had three All-SAC honorees as announced today: Kamari Thompson (Third Team), Mya Wasswa (Second Team), and Shawnteanna Tillman (First Team)

- The Cobras lost a 75-54 contest to Carson-Newman on Saturday as the team was battling injuries to their starting lineup
- It was a close contest early on, with the Cobras holding a 4-2 lead off a Tillman layup about two minutes into the first quarter
- A three put the Cobras down 15-8, but then they went on a big run to take back the lead at 17-15
- Unfortunately for Coker, Carson-Newman was keyed in defensively throughout the second quarter (and for the rest of the contest) as the Eagles pulled out the win
