Cobra Corner
The Cobras are fresh off a 2-0 week that saw junior guard Shawnteanna Tillman score 20+ in three consecutive games to be named the South Atlantic Conference's Player of the Week. She has the Cobras on the run of a lifetime, holding a ten-game win streak after suffering the 81-78 loss to the Trojans on December 11th. The Cobras have yet to drop a game in 2025 and will look to continue their mainstay as the premier women's basketball team in the SAC.
Last Time Out
The Cobras are fresh off a huge 38-point win over UVA-Wise this past weekend that saw every active member of the squad see time on the court. The reigning SAC Player of the Week in Tillman recorded 22 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 steals. The Cobras also saw contributions from Mya Wasswa (20 points, 5 rebounds) and Diamond Jackson (9 points, 7 rebounds).
As stated previously, the last time these two teams faced off was the Cobras' only loss of the season. The 81-78 loss saw four Cobras in double-figures in the form of Dasia Ferguson (20), Tillman (17), Wasswa (11), and Mariah Mitchem (10).
