WOMEN'S BASKETBALL MOVES UP TO 12TH IN LATEST DII WBCA NATIONAL RANKINGS

Lilburn, GA - After a 2-0 week that included two conference wins and a near 40-point blowout, your Coker Women's Basketball team is now the 12th-best team in all of DII!

The 17-1 (13-1 SAC) Cobras have been on a rampage this year. Currently on a ten-game win streak and sitting atop the South Atlantic Conference standings, they are looking to make a deep run this year - and not just in the conference, but on a national stage.

The newest update also has the Cobras ranked as the best team in the Southeast Region, which could mean that the first three rounds of the national tournament would run through Hartsville. Should the Cobras finish their schedule off strong, it would mean securing the program's first bid to the DII national tournament in program history.

To defend their win streak, the Cobras will host the Anderson Trojans here in the DeLoach Center tomorrow night, with tip-off scheduled for 5:30 PM ET. This is a marquee matchup for the Cobras, as their lone loss of the season came at the hands of the Trojans in Greeneville on December 11th.
