WOMEN'S BASKETBALL MOVES UP TO 14TH IN LATEST WBCA DII POLL
Lilburn, GA - Yet another week amongst the top 25 in the nation for the Cobras, but this week they make their first top 15 entry of the season, slotting in at 14th in the latest WBCA DII Women's Basketball Coach's Poll.
Since the last release of the poll, the Cobras had a 2-0 week, defeating Catawba at home and Tusculum on the road. This week also saw Shawnteanna Tillman score 28 points to go along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals in that win against Tusculum. Also in that game, Kamari Thompson logged her 500th career rebound as only a sophomore (with twelve games still to be played in her second season).
The Cobras will travel to Newberry tomorrow and host UVA-Wise this Saturday in an effort to continue this win streak and further push themselves up the rankings.
