Cobra Corner:
Coker Women's Basketball is on a six-game winning streak and undefeated in 2025. They are having (by far) their best season under coach Mel DeVore, as the coaching staff has built a roster that they are confident can contend for a South Atlantic Conference title this season. Mya Wasswa, the star senior, has had a stellar January so far, recording 21 points in two back-to-back games against Barton and Carson-Newman. She and the Cobras will look to continue to use their hot hand tomorrow night.
Last Time Out
In the last outing, the Cobras downed the Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial by a score of 62-55. At one point, the Cobras held a 22-point advantage and were able to survive an onslaught late to take care of business on the road. Dasia Ferguson led the team with 15 points on over 50% shooting from the field.
