Hartsville, SC – After their road loss to Anderson, the Cobras bounced back in a huge way to dominate the Pioneers of Tusculum by a score of 86-54.
This one was never in question, as the Cobras held a 19-point lead at halftime and built on that lead in the second half. Every Cobra that dressed saw the floor in a momentum-shifting contest that saw the Cobras score their highest point total of the year to date.
Shawnteanna Tillman led the Cobras with 20 points to go along with 6 steals and 4 rebounds. Others in double figures included Mariah Mitchem (15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals), Kristynn Knight (14 points on 7-10 shooting), and Dasia Ferguson (13 points, 6 rebounds).
The Cobras will bounce quickly back into action when they head to Hickory, NC to take on the Bears of Lenoir-Rhyne on Wednesday. Tip-off for that contest is scheduled for 5:30 PM ET.
