TILLMAN NAMED SAC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Rock Hill, SC - After a 2-0 week for the Cobras, junior Shawnteanna Tillman is your South Atlantic Conference women's basketball player of the week!

During the week, Tillman averaged 19 points per game, along with 5 rebounds and 4.5 steals. She had a stellar outing in the 78-60 dominant victory over UVA-Wise, shooting 7-13 from the field (including a 3-6 line from three) while recording 5 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals.

This is the first basketball player of the week honor on either the men's or women's side for the Cobras. They will look to add more honors as both teams are out to a combined 8-0 start (4-0 in SAC play).

The next outing for the women will be an exhibition game this Wednesday as they will travel to Conway to take on the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. That game is scheduled for a 3:00 PM ET tip.
