Cobras Downed By Bears In SAC Action

Hartsville, SC - In a matchup between Lenoir-Rhyne and Coker, it was LR who came out on top with a final score of 75-50.

From the beginning, LH set the tone with their strong defense and aggressive offense. LH found their rhythm, shooting 47.4% from the field compared to Coker's 29.5% shooting. 

Coker's Kamari Thompson led the way with a double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing an impressive 11 rebounds. She was a force in the paint, making it difficult for Lenoir-Rhyne to get any easy baskets. Mya Wasswa also had a solid performance, contributing 8 points and providing excellent ball movement with 5 assists.

Defensively, Coker was relentless, recording 6 steals and 4 blocks. They disrupted Lenoir-Rhyne's offensive flow and limited their scoring opportunities. Although Coker fought hard, they were outmatched tonight by LR.

With this loss, Coker falls to 7-3 overall and 2-1 in the SAC. They have established themselves as a formidable contender in the conference and will look to regroup moving forward.
