Coker Seals Victory during Game Against Emory & Henry

Hartsville, SC - The Coker University Women's Basketball Team defeated Emory & Henry with a 20 point lead on Saturday (Jan. 28th).

Dasia Lambert (23) and Valicia Demerittie (23) combined for a total of 46 poins against the Wasps, leading the Cobras to victory on Saturday. Demeritte and Lambert were heeled by Abigail Keesling who dropped a total of 19 points throughout the game, followed by Dominique Rodriguez with 14 of her own. Four other Cobras were able to get in on the action during the game, collecting the remaining 16 points. As a team, Coker shot 53.2 from the field, 56.5 from the three point line, and 94.1 percent from the free throw line.

Out of the 39 rebounds, Kristynn Knight snatched a hefty 13 off the boards. Demeritte registered an extra five, while Rodriguez brought in five. Coker had a collective 11 steals for the day and 17 steals, being led by Dasia Lambert in both statistics. 

 Emma Santoro of Emory & Henry scored 24 points to lead her team.
