Coker Falls Short to Trojans on Saturday Night

Hartsville, SC - The Coker University Women's Basketball Team fell short to Anderson by a score of 63-56 on Saturday Night.

Hope Richardson (12) and Dominique Rodriguez (12) combined for a total of 24 points against the Trojans, leading the Cobras throughout the game. Mya Wasswa followed closely with 10 points of her own. Six other Cobras registered the remaining 22 points. As a team, Coker shot 32.3 percent from the field, 12.5 percent from the three point line, and 61.9 percent from the free throw line.

Of the 43 rebounds, Richardson snatched a total of nine while Kristynn Knight collected seven. Diamond Jackson also registered six rebounds for the game. Kristynn Knight continued to make plays happen for the Cobras with five assists. Coker fought for eight steals and two blocks against the Trojans.

Anderson's, Jalyn Spurlin had a game high of 18 points.
