Coker Drops Friday Night Game against USC Aiken

Aiken, SC - The Coker University Women's Basketball Team lost to USC Aiken by a score of 63-55 on Friday (Dec. 16th) night.

Hope Richardson scored a team-high of 15 points for the Cobras. Richardson was aided by Dominique Rodriguez (9) and Abigail Keesling (8). Five other Cobras scored on the night.  As a team, Coker shot 42 percent from the field and 76.5 percent from the free throw line.

Of the 29 rebounds, Richardson led once again with a total of four in the game. Valicia Demeritte, Kristynn Knight, Diamond Jackson, and Dasia Lambert also registered rebounds throughout the game. Mya Wasswa led the team in steals with two.

The Cobras outscored USCA 14-8 in the second quarter to take a 25-24 lead into the break.  

 

USC Aiken's, Jentri Worley, had a team-high of 14 points while three of her teammates also scored in double digits.

The Cobras will be back in action on Monday (Dec. 19th) at Southern Wesleyan University. Tip off is set of 2:00 PM. Live streaming and stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com
