Coker Falls Short in Non-Conference Game Against Division I Coastal Carolina

Conway, S.C. - The Coker University Women's Basketball Team fell short to Coastal Carolina on Wednesday (Nov. 23) by a score of 104-38. 

The Cobras were led by Dominique Rodriguez, a junior guard, scoring eight points for the game.   Casandra Bennett paced the Cobras with three rebounds. 

Coastal Carolina was led by Aja Blount with 20 points.  Jordyn Newson chipped in 19 while Arin Freeman had 18.  

The Cobras will open South Atlantic Conference play on Wednesday (Nov. 30th) against Virginia-Wise at the DeLoach Center. Tip off is scheduled for 5:30 pm.  Live stats and streaming will be available at www.cokercobras.com
