Kropp Shines Again in Loss to Catawba

SALISBURY, N.C. - The Coker College women's basketball team lost their road conference game at Catawba 70-54 on Wednesday (Jan. 9) night.

Hayley Kropp followed up an impressive performance last time out with another strong showing, scoring a season-high 24 points on 7-11 shooting and 4-6 from three-point range. Her big game comes on the heels of a 16-point performance last time out against Anderson.

Erin Houser was the next highest producer for the Cobras, notching six points and six rebounds in the game. Amanda Cherry and Ashauntee Nelson each scored five points, while Aloni McFarland and Shay Jackson notched four points. Along with her scoring output, Jackson also managed to pull down 10 rebounds. Elizabeth Kincaid and Haliyah Sumter both tallied three points as well. 

The Cobras will hit the road on Saturday (Jan. 12) for a road South Atlantic Conference showdown with Tusculum at 2:00 PM.
