Cobras Fall to Railsplitters in Conference Play

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College women's basketball team fell to the visiting Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters 68-64 Saturday (Feb. 17) evening in South Atlantic Conference action.
Hayley Kropp led the Cobras with 14 points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Janea Williams added 11 points and nine rebounds, and Shay Jackson and Erin Houser added 10 points apiece.
The teams were tied with under a minute remaining in the game, but a basket from Qua Hines with 21 seconds remaining proved to be the difference.
The Cobras will be back in action on Wednesday (Feb. 21) when they travel to Wingate to take on the Bulldogs in a South Atlantic Conference contest. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
