HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College women's basketball team fell to the Wingate Bulldogs 78-61 Monday (Jan. 22) evening in South Atlantic Conference action.
Caitland Considine and Hayley Kropp led the Cobras with 14 points each. Consindine scored 10 of her points in the second half. Erin Houser chipped in 11 points and four rebounds. Coker cut the lead to 47-43 with just over two minutes to play in the third quarter before Wingate used a 16-6 run to put the game away.
The Cobras will be back in action on Wednesday evening (Jan. 24) when they travel to Hickory, N.C. to take on Lenoir-Rhyne in a South Atlantic Conference contest. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
