Cobras Drop Exhibition to Defending National Champion Gamecocks

The Coker College women’s basketball team dropped an exhibition game to the defending NCAA Division I champion Gamecocks Friday (Nov. 3) evening.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Coker College women's basketball team dropped an exhibition game to the defending NCAA Division I champion Gamecocks Friday (Nov. 3) evening. 

Hayley Kropp led the way for the Navy and Gold with 14 points, which included a four for six mark beyond the three-point arch. Caitland Considine finished with eight points and Janea Williams recorded six. Iresha Cooper led the Cobras with nine rebounds. 

The Cobras will have a quick turnaround as they'll be back in action on Saturday (Nov. 4) when they travel to UNC-Charlotte to take on the 49ers in an exhibition game. Opening tip is set for 7 p.m.
