Cobras Host Bulldogs Wednesday, Eye Second Straight Win

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's basketball will look for another South Atlantic Conference win when they host Wingate on Wednesday (Jan. 4). Video and live stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com.

The Cobras last played on Dec. 19 and picked up a home win over Belmont Abbey by a score of 65-60. Iresha Cooper finished with a team-high 14 points, while Kendra Lambert added 11 and Elizabeth Kincaid and Lindsey Adams each chipped in 10.

On the season, Cooper leads the Cobras offensively, averaging 11.6 points per game, which is 16th-best individually in the conference, along with 5.7 rebounds per game. Cooper leads the SAC in field goal percentage, shooting 58.2 percent from the floor.

The Bulldogs come into the matchup 8-3 with a 4-2 mark in SAC play. They are led on the offensive end by Marta Miscenko, who is fifth in the league averaging 17.1 points per game. She is also third in the conference in rebounding, pulling down 10.4 boards per game.

Tip-off is slated for 6:00 p.m. at the DeLoach Center. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
