HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker women's basketball team will try to carry momentum into the Thanksgiving holiday when they take on Catawba in the team's South Atlantic Conference opener on Tuesday (Nov. 22).

The Cobras have had a lengthy break since their last contest, when they fell 78-75 last Monday (Nov. 14) to UNC Pembroke in front of a rowdy DeLoach Center crowd.

Cooper is also among the highest-percentage shooters in the conference, owning a 55.6 percent mark from the field, good for tenth in the conference.

The Indians come into the matchup with a 3-1 record, having yet to play a game in the South Atlantic Conference. Terri Rogers leads the team and the South Atlantic Conference in points per game with 22.8, and is also team-leader and third in the conference in rebounds per game with 12.5.
