HARTSVILLE, S.C.- The Coker women's basketball team will play its home opener on Monday (Nov. 14) when they host UNC Pembroke in non-conference action. Video and live stats will be available at www.cokercobras.com

The Cobras are looking for their first win on the year after coming up short against both Limestone and Belmont Abbey in the Stokes-Trainor Conference Challenge this past weekend (Nov. 11-12).

Through two games, Terrika Foster is leading the Navy and Gold in both scoring average and rebounding per game. The senior is averaging 12.5 points per game along with 4.5 rebounds per game.

This will be the season-opener for UNC Pembroke, who went 10-16 and 5-14 in Peach Belt Conference play in 2015-16. The Braves were picked No. 12 in the Peach Belt Conference preseason poll. The Braves return two starters from last year in Jonissa Monley and Jasmine Huntley. Monley had the top scoring average with 13.2 points per game, while Huntley was right behind her averaging 9.9 points per game.

Tip-off is slated for 6:00 p.m. at the DeLoach Center. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
