Cobras Drop Road Contest at Tusculum

GREENVILLE, TENN.- Coker women's basketball dropped its South Atlantic Conference contest at Tusculum 62-44 on Saturday (Feb. 13).

Jazz Green paced Coker with a team-high nine points. The senior also collected eight rebounds. Terrika Foster added eight points and 10 rebounds.

Coker trailed by one at half after outscoring the Pioneers 16-8 in the second quarter. A Jazz Green three-point play gave Coker a 28-26 lead. Tusculum would go on a 13-0 run over the next five minutes to tack on to their lead.

The Cobras return home on Wednesday (Feb. 17) to face off with conference foe Wingate. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m. at the DeLoach Center. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
