Trojans Halt Cobras Winning Streak

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's basketball fell on Saturday (Feb. 6) at home to Anderson 76-46.

Danielle Luczak had a team-high 11 points off the bench for the navy and gold. 

At the half, Coker trailed 34-28 after outscoring the visiting Trojans 18-14 in the second quarter. The Cobras came as close as five points in the second quarter.

Anderson would pull away in the second half, even with Coker coming within five midway through the third quarter.

The Cobras hit the hardwood again on Wednesday (Feb. 10) when they host Lenoir-Rhyne. This will be Coker's Play for Kay breast cancer awareness game. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m. at the DeLoach Center. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
