Cobras Look to Regain Momentum Against LMU

HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's basketball looks to get back on track when they face Lincoln Memorial on Saturday (Jan. 23).  Video broadcast and live stats will be available for the game at www.cokercobras.com

The Cobras fell on Wednesday to Lenoir-Rhyne 58-52 on Wednesday (Jan. 20), despite Kiara Shoats's career-high 24 points in the contest.

Jazz Green sits tied for fourth in the conference in points per game with 15.0. The senior also is third in the SAC in rebounds per game with 9.4. Terrika Foster is second in the conference in field goal percentage at 54.6%.

Lincoln Memorial comes into the contest with a 9-6 overall record and a 6-4 mark in conference play. Offensively, the Splitters turn to Megan Pittman, who averages 13 points per game. Their other scoring threat is Britney Guy, who averages 10.5 points per game.

The two teams met in Harrogate, Tenn. Back on Dec. 5, where Coker escaped with a slim 64-61 win. Three Cobras notched double figures in the scoring department. Jazz Green led the attack with 24 points, and completed a double-double pulling down 10 rebounds. Morgan Williams contributed 12 points, while Kiara Shoats added 11 of her own.

Tip-off is set for 2:00 p.m. at the DeLoach Center. Tickets for the game are $5 for adults, $3 for students and free to all Coker faculty, staff and students.
