Cobras Overpowered by Eagles in SAC Road Matchup

JEFFERSON CITY, TENN. – The Coker College women's basketball team fell to the Carson-Newman University Eagles 88-49 in South Atlantic Conference action on Saturday (Jan. 16). 

The Navy and Gold struggled offensively, shooting just 33.3 percent from the field and committing 33 turnovers.

Kiara Shoats scored eight points leading the way. Sydney Shull poured in seven points off the bench, while Kendra Lambert and Kaitlyn Beaver finished with six points

The Cobras will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Hickory, N.C. to take on the Lenoir-Rhyne University. Opening tip is set for 6 p.m.
