Coker held a slim 24-22 halftime lead, before being outscored 17-14 in the third quarter. Trailing by one entering the final frame, the Cobras needed a big push to regain the lead. Morgan Williams notched 10 points in the final quarter to lead all Coker scorers. The freshman made a layup with 1:08 to go to tie the game at 56, while also drawing the foul. Williams made the single free throw, giving Coker a one point lead. After a pair of Tusculum free throws put the Cobras down 58-57, the home team continued to feed Williams, who earned a three-point play with a made layup and free throw with 45 seconds left to put Coker up 60-58.

The game tied at 60, Jazz Green forced a ball out of bounds for a turnover to give Coker the ball in the dying seconds. Off the dribble, Green fed Williams inside, who made a move on her defender and laid the ball up as the clock ran out.

The Cobras will be back in action after the Christmas holiday on December 30 in an exhibition game at Benedict. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
