
Autumn Lau Named Conference Player of the Week
Coker's Autumn Lau picked up a conference player of the week award.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College's Autumn Lau has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week. This is the third player of the week award for the Coker women's basketball team this season. Amber Lau and Hailey Yohn were the other recipients.
Making her Coker debut over the weekend, Lau led the Cobras to a weekend sweep over Mount Olive and St. Andrews. Against Mount Olive on Saturday, she had a game-high 24 points, six rebounds and one block. On Sunday, versus St. Andrews, Lau posted a game-high 29 points with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.
Lau hails from Mt. Wolf, Pa., and is a communications major at Coker. She is the daughter of Brian and Shelby Lau.
Coker is 6-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play. The Cobras resume play Dec. 30 at the Stair South Classic at Georgia College State University.
