Yohn Named Conference Carolinas Player of the Week
Hailey Yohn has been named the women's basketball player of the week by Conference Carolinas.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College's Hailey Yohn has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
A sophomore from Durham, N.C., Yohn led the Cobras to a 2-0 week at the SAC-Conference Carolinas Challenge. She nailed the game-winning 3-pointer with three seconds left in regulation to defeat Carson Newman 59-56. Against Lincoln Memorial, Yohn drained the game-tying 3-pointer to send the game to overtime, where Coker would win 61-59.
Through two games this season, Yohn is averaging 14.5 points and three rebounds per game and hitting 41 percent of her shots from three-point range.
Yohn is a physical education and sport studies major with a concentration in sports management at Coker. She is the daughter of Jeff and Jeanne Yohn.
