Godbout Paces Cobras to 75-65 Win Over Pfeiffer

MISENHEIMER, N.C.- Freshman Kelley Godbout (Matthews, N.C.) scored 16 points with 16 rebounds to pace the Cobra women to a 75-65 win over the Pfeiffer Falcons in their final regular season game of the season. The win was Coker's sixth straight, improving them to 11-6 in Conference Carolinas play.

In addition to Godbout's double-double, Amber Lau (Mt. Wolfe, Pa.) scored 17 with six rebounds, while Jessica Cohen (Ladsen, S.C.) added 13 points and five rebounds. Jasmine Alston (Sumter, S.C.) also scored in double figures with 10 points and seven rebounds and Jasmine Evans (Birmingham, Ala.) added 10 points as well.

The Cobras now prepare for the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Tournament, which begins on Monday. Coker will make their first appearance in the tournament since 2009. As the #3 seed in the East Division they will face the #2 seed from the West, North Greenville University at North Greenville at 7 p.m.
