Coker's Cohen Named Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Coker College’s Jessica Cohen has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas women's basketball Player of the Week during week number 12 of the 2011-2012 season,

High Point, N.C. – Coker College's Jessica Cohen has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas women's basketball Player of the Week during week number 12 of the 2011-2012 season.

Cohen averaged a double-double for the week as she led the Coker women to a perfect 2-0 week with wins over Barton and Belmont Abbey. Cohen scored 21 points in each game with 10 and 11 rebounds respectively, while hitting over 65 percent of the shots she took. She averaged 21 points and 10.5 rebounds per game for the week with two blocks per game as well.  Coker is currently 7-6 in league play.
