Coker Women Fall to North Greenville, 78-56

TIGERVILLE, S.C. – Junior forward Jessica Cohen (Ladsen, S.C.) scored a team high 21 points in the Coker women's basketball team's 78-56 loss to North Greenville University on Saturday.

The Cobras had a tough time in the early goings of the Conference Carolinas showdown, but were able to find a rhythm in the second half, as they outscored the Crusaders 37-33 in the final 20 minutes of the game.

To go along with her 21 points Cohen pulled down seven rebounds, while Jasmine Alston (Sumter, S.C.) added 13 points to the Coker effort. Amber Lau (Mt. Wolfe, Pa.) and Kelley Godbout (Matthews, N.C.) each had six points and six rebounds and Hailey Yohn (Durham, N.C.) also scored six points.

The Coker women will return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Wilson, N.C. to take on Barton College at 5:30 p.m.
