Cobras Come Up Short Against Mount Olive, 78-75

MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – A pair of Coker women's basketball players scored 20 plus points in the Cobras 78-75 Conference Carolinas loss to Mount Olive College on Tuesday night.

Amber Lau (Mt. Wolfe, Pa.) netted a game high 25 points for the Cobras, 18 of which came from three-point land, while Jessica Cohen (Ladsen, S.C.) scored 22 points with nine rebounds.

The Trojans held a 39-34 lead at the half, but the Cobras battled their way back, taking a 72-71 lead with 2:39 left in the game. Coker and Mount Olive exchanged leads over the next two minutes, with the Cobras holding a 75-74 lead with just 28 ticks left on the clock.
