Coker Women Fall to Fayetteville State 87-66
Jessica Cohen and Kelley Godbout each had a double-double in the Cobras 87-66 loss to Fayetteville State
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Junior Jessica Cohen (Ladsen, S.C.) had a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds, but it was not enough to earn the Cobras their first win of the season, as Coker lost to Fayetteville State 87-66.
Coker had a difficult time cracking the Broncos' defense shooting 36 percent from the floor and 53 percent from the charity stripe.
In addition to Cohen's double-double, freshman Kelley Godbout (Matthews, N.C.) had a double-double of her own with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Coker returns to action in a week at the MetroMedical Thanksgiving Classic hosted by Bellarmine University in Lousiville, Kentucky. The Cobras will open play against the host at 7 p.m. on Saturday and will then play the University of Southern Indiana on Sunday, Nov. 27 at noon.
