CONWAY, S.C. – Maija Castren (Vantaa, Finland) and Shanice Cooper (Sumter, S.C.) scored six points apiece to pace the Cobras in their 78-25 loss to Division I Coastal Carolina on Sunday afternoon in women’s collegiate basketball.

The Cobras had a rough afternoon shooting the basketball, hitting just 13.5 percent from the field and 52.9 percent from the free throw line.

Jasmine Alston (Sumter, S.C.) had a team high nine rebounds with five points and Lucy Fish (Nottingham, England) also had five points with four boards.

Coker opens the Conference Carolinas portion of their season on Thursday, December 2, at home against Belmont Abbey College. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
