HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College Head Women’s Basketball Coach Jenny Finora is pleased to announce the signing of Hailey Yohn to a National Letter of Intent to play basketball for the Cobras in 2011-12. Yohn becomes first signee for Finora and the Cobras.

Yohn will join the Coker women’s team from Durham, N.C. where she is a two-time captain and All-Conference player at Northern Durham High School. A four-time letter winner in basketball, Yohn averaged nine points and three assists per game as a junior and she holds the Northern Durham record for most three-point shots made.

An active student off the court, Yohn is a member of the National Honor Society, is editor of the yearbook and is a Habitat for Humanity Volunteer.

“We are very excited to add Hailey to our Coker family,” said Finora.  “She is a phenomenal student-athlete, excelling both in the classroom and on the court. Her shooting ability will give us a major outside threat and will help spread the floor for our post players.”

The Cobra women will continue their 2010-11 season after the Thanksgiving holiday when they travel to Conway, S.C. to take on Division I Coastal Carolina on Sunday, November 28 at 2:00 p.m.
