Game Preview: Morris v. Coker

Hartsville, S.C. – The Coker Cobras women’s basketball team will face off against NAIA opponent Morris College for the women’s home opener.  The Cobras were on the road Monday night against UNC-Pembroke, where they were dealt a loss in the season opener 54-77.

Coker defeated Morris 67-58 at Morris last season for their first win of the 2009-10 campaign.  The Cobras are led by head coach Jenny Finora who will be making her first appearance in the Timberlake-Lawton Gymnasium during the regular season.

The Lady Cobras will look to senior Megan Thomas (Cresskill, NJ) for leadership in the home opener.  Thomas scored 14 points in the season opening defeat at Pembroke.
