Hartsville, SC- Senior Tara Nelson’s 19 points, nine rebounds and three assists paced the Lady Cobras to a 75-61 victory over North Greenville University and snapped a four game losing streak in the process. Coker improves to 2-5 overall, while drops to 4-5 overall.

 

Coker also had outstanding contributions from Rebecca Kolbeck, India Elliott and Madison Bycroft. Kolbeck finished the game with a double-double, her second of the year, scoring 11 points with 10 rebounds, while Elliott and Bycroft each netted nine points for the Cobras. Bycroft also had three rebounds and three assists, while Elliott also tallied three assists.

 

For the Crusaders, Whitney Smith led the way with 12 points, while Audrey Toscano and Nikki Wood each gave North Greenville eight points and four and five rebounds respectively.

 

The Cobras next game will be on Wednesday, December 13, when they travel to face the Blue Hose of Presbyterian College. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
