Spartanburg, SC --- Coker’s Lotta Aaltonen scored 19 points to lead the Cobras to a 69-57 victory. Strong shooting from the line helped Coker put the game out of reach. The Cobras last nine points all came from the charity stripe. Coker improves to 1-1 on the season while the All-Star fall to 0-4.

After trailing 14-3 early in the game, Converse battled back to get within five points at halftime. The All-Stars pulled within one point late in the game, but foul shots proved to be the difference. Converse shot 39% from the foul line in the second half, while the Cobras shot 80% in the second stanza.

Carla Kantara had a team high 10 points. Brandi Crisitiello and Lauren Mueller each added nine points for the All-Stars. Five Cobras hit double digits, including 4 of the 5 starters. Tara Nelson scored 13 while Temeca Spain added 12. Henna Koponen and Madison Bycroft each had 11 points.

Coker will take a break until after the Thanksgiving Holiday, when they travel to Newberry on Saturday, November 25 for a 2:00 p.m. tip-off.
