
Men’s Track Competes at USC Open
Columbia, S.C. - The Coker University men's track and field team completed competition at the USC Open on Saturday (April 17). The Cobras had a strong showing, placing in several events and setting personal bests while competing against nationally-ranked Division I schools.

In the 4x100m relay, Davion Sebree, Kristoffer Persen, Gary Simpkins and Jerimil German placed ninth with a time of 42.46 seconds.
In the 100m, Mahari Green placed 17th with a time of 10.92 seconds.
In the javelin throw, Luke Baker took 19th with a mark of 33.54m.
In the pole vault, Baker placed 15th with a mark of 3.80m.
The Cobras are back in action again Saturday (April. 24) when they travel to Hickory, N.C. to compete in the South Atlantic Conference Outdoor Championships. Live coverage can be found at www.cokercobras.com.
