Cobras Finish Strong at Gamecock Opener

FULL DAY TWO FIELD RESULTS

COLUMBIA, S.C. – On Saturday (Jan. 18), the Coker University men's track and field team finished their first 2020 meet in Columbia, S.C. at the Gamecock Opener.

On the track, Tony McElveen Jr. ran a 22.78 in the 200m, with Antuan Crowder and Sage Lilly not too far behind at 22.86 and 23.00, respectively. Mahliqe Andrews finished with a time of 2:01.63 in the 800m, while Will Mosley ran a time of 2:05.86.

In the field, Alex Berry and Dre Litsey each totaled 1.83m in the high jump.

"I am proud of how we competed this weekend, and it was a valuable meet to gain experience against some really good competition," said coach Pete Early. "We look forward to getting back to training and continuing our progressions."
