HICKORY, N.C. -- The Coker College men's track and field team wrapped up their outdoor season with a record-breaking performance at the South Atlantic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday (Apr. 20).

Tony McElveen set both the all-conditions and wind-legal school records in the 100-meters with a national qualifying time of 10.50 seconds in the prelims, and a finals time of 10.72 seconds. McElveen finished fourth overall in the event, and now ranks 20th in the country in Division II. Jarrel Mumford posted the second fastest 100-meter time in school history in the same event with a time of 10.77 seconds. 

Sage Lilly notched the two fastest 400-meter times in school history, finishing fourth overall with a record time of 49.18. His qualifying time of 49.23 seconds ranks second, and Lilly now owns three of the top four 400-meter times in Coker history.

Freshman Stephen Krebs set the all-conditions Coker record in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.02. His qualifying time of 15.19 seconds was fourth best in school history.

The men's 4x100 team of Sage Lilly, Jarrel Mumford, Malik Tarbell, and Tony McElveen also set a school record, combining for a national qualifying time of 41.00 seconds, ranking 27th overall in Division II.

Finally, Razzel Kiplaget followed up his record-breaking performance in the javelin last week, with the second best distance in Coker history at 43.38 meters.
