McElveen Posts Second-Fastest 100-meter Mark in Coker History at Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Tony McElveen Jr. posted the second-fastest 100-meter time in school history on Saturday (Mar. 30) at the Raleigh Relays. McElveen Jr.'s time of 10.84 seconds was good for 21st overall in the event, and narrowly missed Jarrell Mumford's school record of 10.80 seconds.

Malik Tarbell wasn't far behind, finishing 22nd overall, and notching the seventh-fastest 100-meter mark in Coker history.

The Coker men's track and field team will be back in action next weekend when they travel to Elon, N.C. to compete in the Phoenix Invitational on Saturday (Apr. 6).
